- 9.00am – 9.30am: (all age groups) FREE PLAY
- Activities include Home Corner, Book Corner, Floor toys, Role Play area and Table Activities
- 9.35am – 10.15am: (all age groups) SESSION
- Days of the week, months, “Pooh’s Adventures”, counting, colours, weather, topic. Followed by MESSY PLAY — a range of activities are available during this time including colouring, glueing, painting, sand, junk and clay modelling, woodwork, water, cornflour, cooking, sewing, planting and 3D modelling. Not all of these activities are covered in one session.
- 10.15am – 10.25am: STORY TELLING (language and literacy)
- 10.25am – 10.30am: (all age groups) DANCING
- 10.30am – 10.45am: (all age groups) BREAK
- 10.45am – 11.00am: (all age groups) PHYSICAL DEVELOPMENT
- The children have the opportunity to play with balls, hoops, the balancing beam, climbing frame and play games.
- 11.00am – 11.45am: (3-year-olds) EARLY YEARS “Tiggers”
- 11.00am – 11.45am: (3-year-olds) EARLY YEARS “Poohs”
- 11.00am – 11.45am: (1-2-year-olds) EARLY YEARS “Roos” and “Piglets”
- Please ask for our Early Years programme. A range of activities are provided during this time including Lego, bricks, shape-sorting, threading, animals, play-dough, sound-tapes, puzzles, garden. Not all of these activities may be covered in one session. All of the children can move freely among activities.
- 11.45am – 12noon: (all age groups) MUSIC
- Dancing, musical instruments, sing along Nursery rhymes. Lunch is served at noon followed by a quiet time for those children who wish to sleep. Free play will commence again for a short time until 1.00pm. At this time, there will either be a short story, or when the weather is appropriate the children will go outside until 1.20pm.
- AFTERNOON SESSION
- As above. Full day care children will participate in different activities. When the weather is appropriate, all children will go into the garden.
